The image below is something I made up for myself to make life a little easier and more efficient while trading. It is printed and taped to the desk right next to the mouse. Makes it easier and encourages me to mark up the charts. Marking your charts is an important part of learning and helping you stay focused on what you saw ‘before’ the trade was entered and emotions turned on (FEAR and GREED).

We highly encourage marking your charts, ESPECIALLY for new traders. When learning, it is a good practice to mark up your main trading chart with your Entries, Stops, Targets and Exits and either printing or taking screen shots at the end of each day. When the day is over and there is no emotional attachment to the trades, it is good to review them and see what you did correctly and what could have been done differently.
